Honesty

JP with Bandorchu and Winteroak

Alexis took a moment to process that information.
Was this why magik was so abundant in Arcadia, while it was so sparse in Helias? Because the Pillars did not play such games and kept the Ether in check as was their task?

“How? How did they justify that, betraying their sister and risk such damage to the world?”

She cocked her head, her following words strangely carrying no accusation.

“And how did they get you to comply with such a scheme?”

"Power corrupts." He told her. "They offered me a way to eradicate Noraura. "The mother of Winter and Mountains was my target. Not Ziarae." He explained telling the first mortal ever how he had been dupped by the Twins.

Alexis was silent for a while. Trying to come to terms with all the implications.

“Why the prophetess? How did your priestess get caught up in this?”

"A victim of circumstances, I now gather." He explained. "The Ozainae the influenced by the Twins and Sister Locust attacked the Odonine." He continued. "They have never truly recovered from the Horde's attack."

She nodded slowly. All in all her assumptions had come surprisingly close to what the fire god had told her.

“Was that to tie up loose ends? Or is there more to that?”

"In a way. Also their attacks ensured that my people did not belice that I could protect them and slowly but surely, started to turn in huge numbers to my rival." A cold icy wind appeared to fane the flames in the forge sending sparks into the air.

“They are allied to Noraura then?”
