The Keep - Dining Hall - Breakfast - Dense

Ferrus entered the Dining room nodding to Miyuki as she left.

“Kiitos.” Piritta said, sitting in Miyuki’s seat and helping herself to her plate. “Hän lihoa. Hyvä. Hän tarvitsee sitä.”

Beatrix looked at Piritta, confused, as Bella soon followed Ferrus inside, pulling along the man she loved. “That girl still loves runnin’ around naked.” She chuckled.

“Miyuki.” Piritta verified for Beatrix. She shrugged at Bella. “Hänellä on liian paljon hiuksia ollakseen alasti.”

Ferrus merely blushed before greeting everyone as he went to grab himself and Bella some food.

Bella's tail wagged with joy as she walked over to get food with him, letting out happy noises. She mostly got meat based food.

Beatrix chuckled at Bella. "At least she's happy."

“Joo.” Piritta agreed, finishing the food left on Myuki’s plate.

Ferrus took a seat next to everyone wishing them a good morning.

Bella happily ate, completely oblivious to everyone staring at her nakedness.

“So, Ferrus…” Beatrix said with a slight smirk. “You and Bella figure out if you want pups yet?”

“We’ve talked about it” Ferrus admitted with a blush “I’ve always wanted children and when she’s ready we’ll have them.”

Jacob laughed at Piritta’s words.

Bella nuzzled into Ferrus’ side and smiled. She was more than ready, but wanted to give the others time to adjust. She wanted to do some babysitting before attempting to raise her own children.

Beatrix smiled and leaned back. “I understand that. Not ready fer kids yet myself. Already got a lot on my plate with this brat.” She ruffled up Jacob’s hair.

Ferrus smiled and wrapped an arm around Bella “so how are you and Alex doing as a couple?”

Beatrix looked at Alex, who was sitting next to her. “Well, how are things goin’ fer us?” She teased and pinched his cheek playfully.

Bella watched and silently giggled.

Alex blushed slightly, over time he had gotten used to her teasing and although they were taking it slow it was clear they were both interested in each other. Taking a moment to summon the courage he looked at her before pulling her into a kiss for a moment before pulling away “great I’d say.”

Beatrix flushed so darkly it showed through her fur. “Such a naughty man!” She giggled and noticed Lek walking in. “Hm?”

Alex leaned forward so he could whisper into her ear “then perhaps you’d like to share a bed with me tonight then?”

Lek got some toast and sat at the table. He was visibly worried.

“You know lad I’ve handled metal less dense than you” Rook sighed joining Lek after having witnessed everything.

“Huh?” Lek blinked at Rook, then spotted Millie coming into the Dining Hall. Pinja was her best friend, the only person who spent more time around Pinja than Miyuki. Lek jumped up from the table and hurried over to his sister. “Millie! How’s Pinja? Is she okay?”

“Good morning to you too, Lek.” Millie said as she fixed up a plate. “Pinja is the same.”

“Oh.” Lek felt relieved and a touch disappointed that she was not doing better. He’d ask Millie to say ‘hi’ for him, but even that might scare her. His shoulders slumped and he returned to his toast.

Beatrix pinched Alex’s rear end. “Gotta put a ring on it first, sugar.” She said and watched the encounter between Lek and his sister. Rolling her eyes, she crossed her arms. “Yer tha most dense man I have ever met, Lek.”

Rook finished his drink before holding his hand up to Alex “yes I know how to make rings we’ll talk later” he said before turning to Lek “Listen lad despite being young for my race I am the oldest here so how about some wisdom?”

“Excuse me?” Lek had thought he misheard Rook when the dwarf called him dense, but Beatrix was very clear. He wondered what he had done to deserve getting insulted at breakfast. He looked at Rook. “What?”

“I won’t beat around the stone, it’s obvious that Miyuki is sweet on you and not in the overly friendly bar maiden trying to earn a bigger tip way.” Rook began. “you’re the only person she's gotten close to ever since she arrived in the village. She looks at you the same way you look Pinja. Now don’t get me wrong, Pinja a nice girl and didn’t deserve what happened to her but it did happen and that’s something she may never recover from. Now if you’re prepared to wait the rest of your life for her even if she never returns your feelings,I respect that. But Miyuki deserves closure then.I don’t want to see her heart broken more than it has to be.”

“What?” Lek’s jaw dropped. “No. Miyuki’s no barmaid, she’s nice, we’re just friends…” Lek trailed off, remembering how Pinja had no clue about his feelings towards her until he proposed marriage to her after learning she was pregnant. “Oh.” He blushed and pushed his hair back from his face. “I never… I love Pinja.”

“Puta,” Beatrix said in Spanish and got up. “Come, Jacob. We got work ta do and Alex has ta go check on Bjorn,” She left with her brother, tail flicking in annoyance.

Alex sighed a got up to follow “you really need to talk to Miyuki then and establish that she has no shot otherwise you’re just being cruel.”
