Shadowfang snuck away from the ship

After the pain stopped, Shadowfang realized what the hell had happened. "By Bahamut! What in the infernal fires of Avernus!?" Shadowfang realized her old armor would no longer fit. "Crap, I have to get new armor." She grabbed some of her now loose-fitting clothes and cinched her belt as tightly as possible. She grabbed her armor and snuck off the ship and went to town. Once in town, she went to a store. She began looking for a new armor and trying to remove the offending cursed item, but couldn't. A merchant came over. "You're unknowingly put on a cursed girdle, didn't you? Got it from the dragon's horde, didn't you? I know exactly what you are going through. My sister used to own that girdle. She and some friends went after the dragon a few days ago. Never came back. I had hoped that the girdle was destroyed. I have an armor that will fit you perfectly. I had it especially made for her. It should fit you. Just be more careful than her." Shadowfang gave the merchant a look that said what's the catch. "No catch. It's specifically designed to accommodate the curse placed on that girdle. It's no use to me and only really valuable to those wearing that girdle." Shadowfang started to say how much, but was cut off. Shadowfang hated that. "I'll trade you that armor you can no longer wear for it." Shadowfang negotiated for enough gold for three ales. Shadowfang put the armor on and watched as it magically changed to fit her perfectly. Shadowfang did not like how it changed.

She stumbled to the closest tavern. Every click of her 3 inch heels pissed her off. The minute she walked in, the click of her heels had eyes turning towards her. Just as she was about to order a drink, the bartender slid her a drink and pointed to a half-orc male. Shadowfang drank it without so much as acknowledging the person who bought it.

Vallana followed after her sister. She caught up with them. She landed on Arc's shoulder. "So what is on the agenda Sis?" It felt forced and uncomfortable to refer to someone she barely knew as Sis who was a complete stranger until just recently but that would only change with use and time.
