Baldur's Gate 3: Emperor's Reign

The Dark Urge convinced the Emperor to dominate the Netherbrain. The Emperor used the Netherbrain to dominate all infected with a tadpole. The Dark Urge and the others became his general. Karlach had previously turned herself into a Mind Flayer to avoid her Infernal Engine from on the verge of death became a Mind Flayer. Jaheira & Halsin the only companions not to be tadpoled were brought into the fold. Everyone in Baldur's Gate who wasn't a companion of the Dark Urge was turned into a Mind Flayer. Once Baldur's Gate was under his control he began to plan his conquest of every realm.

Latest story summary:

Recruiters for the military was sent out across the city and country side looking for able bodied men, women, familiars, and constructs to fight the Mind Flayer menace coming from Baldur’s Gate which had fallen completely. While flying on the Airship Nautiloid named the Dagon, the crew has accepted the mission of recruiting aid against the Mind Flayer menace and has encountered a few battles along the way to their main destinations.
