Peace Talks

Roopah chimed in on Styx's idea. "The curse can go one of two ways: full-on werecat or just cat. As long as she keeps using the cursed weapon, she'll keep getting more cat-like until she completely changes. Then eventually she will revert back. At least that's how Two Rivers described it to me. Two Rivers doesn't know what causes the process to revert to normal. There has never been anyone stubborn enough to keep using it to fully change. She also had never seen a barbarian Githyanki use it; they are the most stubborn people in all the realms. So fun times ahead. I did not expect it to change how she speaks. If I ever see Two Rivers again, I'll have to let her know."

Styx listened and smirked as she replied, “I can see her going full cat before she realizes it. Oh well not our problem. Arc let’s get out of here.”

After they finish cleaning up, the group leaves the cave and makes their way back to the werewolves. Roopah, started to speak, but Holalana stopped her before she said something stupid. She speaks to their alpha instead. "Hark and rejoice, for the dastardly and vile necromancer that was terrorizing your home has been put to rest. We have removed any traces of him and his vile creatures from your home. Our trusty Warforged made sure to leave the bones of your deceased behind for proper reburial." Holalana used a lot of hand gestures.

Arc and Styx kept quiet about loot the bones earlier as the new elf lady negotiated with the werewolves. Since they were a feisty bunch, it was best to not rile them up by saying or doing anything questionable. It was easier for Arc to hide his boney face behind his helmet. Styx simply rested and hid her face as Arc was very tall. The height advantage made it easier to not notice her nervousness. True they could have simply returned the bones they looted earlier, but that meant sorting out all the bones in Arc Pouch of Holding.

Listening to Holalana gave Fera an idea. If we can convince this Elf to stay, we can use her to talk to the politicians. Tav hates doing that. Tav would definitely drink less that way.

Styx asked Arc why the new elf lady talked like a noblewoman. Arc the replied, she was possibly a merchant or noblewoman before being captured by the Necromancer. Then he suggested that they head back to the ship.
