Warriors of Avernus catching up

After Holalana finished talking to the werewolves and secured their help, the group left the woods quickly. Fera approached Holalana. Fera acted quite unlike herself. "Ser Holalana, I must humbly beg for your help. We need a face for our party that is most adept at dealing with the politicians and nobility we must engage with on a journey of utmost importance."

After Fera explained the purpose of their journey, Holalana agreed. Fera thought she had decided a little too easily, but wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth for the moment.

Roopah listened in as well. "You're going after those tentacle-headed bastards? Count me in as well. Always wanted to mount one of their heads on my wall, especially since they kidnapped me. Luckily, their damn ship crashed before they got a chance to.

Fera and the others took Roopah and Holalana back to the Dagon. "Damn, you really fucked up that Nautiloid Spelljammer. What in the Nine Hells did you do it?"

Demonsbane stepped up. "We liberated it from some Mind Flayer thralls. Our Artificer Luna got it working again using a Dybbuk. She made it all better." Roopah recognized Demonsbane now, from her partial use of her catchphrase. She turned to Demonsbane. "You used to serve Zariel, did you not? Demonsbane, I believe your designation is." Demonsbane nodded and bowed slightly. "Aye Ser Roopah. We were both on the Nautiloid as well. Have you seen Ser Zariel?" Roopah's face told Demonsbane all she needed to know. "Died in battle. Didn't see who." Demonsbane punched a tree so hard it fell over.

Fera brought Tav to meet the new recruits. "ROOPAH!" Roopah turned around. "By the fucking Nine Hells! Tav, you survived Elturgard's descent into Avernus. I told Dad you would survive. Dad owes me ten soul coins. He did not believe you would survive." Tav laughed. "Of course, your dad bet against me."

Fera coughed loudly. "Yes, Fera?" Fera gestured to Holalanna. "This is Ser Holalanna. She has agreed to handle your most hated opponent." Tav raised an eyebrow. "Ser Holalanna has agreed to deal with the politicians and nobility." Tav smiled for the first time since leaving the Underdark. "Thank the gods. Good job, Fera." Roopah laughed heartily and loudly. "You let Tav deal with the politicians and nobles? How many did you kill, Tav?" Tav gave Roopah a dirty look. "I didn't kill any." Roopah looked at Tav incredulously. "Seriously not a single one? Tell me you didn't go soft on me did you?" Tav ignored her.

Holalanna slammed a tankard to get attention. "You were in Elturgard? My stepmom and half-siblings were there when it disappeared. Do you know what happened to the Shaeldroha family?" Tav couldn't remember any people by that name. "If they were in the noble district, there's a good chance they died the first night. That first night was pure chaos, a lot of good people died or were captured and never seen again."
