Most Delighted

The particulars of the Cho-han dice game sounded both intriguing and genuinely thrilling as she imagined the many people playing it all at once, with real money at stake. Her elfin face burst into an excited grin upon Horo's invitation to take her along to see it played, and his face-reading skill at work. She was both flattered and grateful. The gambling house was a side of Dalen that she had never seen, a world to which she was a stranger. She had also never been anyone's date before. She wondered what she should wear so that she didn't look too out of place? She smiled at all the dealers being shirtless. The only thing that made her nervous was the magical wards. She didn't like the idea of being somewhere her powers would be impaired. But she probably wouldn't be in any real danger unless they thought she was cheating, and it sounded like she couldn't do that if she wanted, or even accidentally. She was not surprised to hear cheaters were slain. Dalen's laws tended to be very harsh and unforgiving that way. But she sensed — despite all his daft eccentricity — that Horo would never think of putting her in harm's way and that therefore there was little reason for her to worry. She beamed a big smile and leaned against the counter toward him. "I would be most delighted to accompany you, Horo! I didn't have any other plans tonight, and if I did, I'd have cancelled them! What time should we meet up? And where?"
