Burden of Hope

Hello gang,
I have been working on an idea for a new game in the last few weeks. The basis of the game were being fleshed out in a joint effort with another writer/player of OW but due to some unforeseen circumstances I have to change my plans.

The game is or was to be set in the near future, where Humankind is starting to colonise the inner solar system, not only because it starts to become commercially viable to do so for several nations and private companies but also due to the quick deterioration of Earth's environments and ecosystems.

The game is obviously sci-fi themed using as much realistic and existing technologies as possible with a hint of cyberpunk to it, as we map and explore the possible paths and tribulations the first generations of colonists undertake as we as a race attempt to establish ourselves off world.

I am planning to launch the game in April. What am I looking for is for three other writers that would like to join this undertaking. The concept is that each writer in the beginning would be responsible for one of the four main settings the game will take place in. The Moon and cis-lunar space, Mars, Venus and the Asteroid Belt. These being the four places in the solar system that we could even with today's technology attempt to colonise.

This group of 4 writers would be responsible to develop and role play life in each of their own territories through gameplay and cooperative writing whilst working on the emergent synergies, commerce and politics that would develop between these far flung colonies. There is already some ground work in place including industries, colonies and timelines developed, as well as a few major events that will shape the course of the game.

If this concept works and it proves successful we could eventually allow players to develop and control their own colonies as Mankind expands futher out into the solar system, whilst at the same time playing their own characters.

So I am looking to see if anyone here who enjoys collaborative writing and wants to take on the challenge, would like to join me or if there is interest out there to try your hand at something much closer to home and in time within the realms of fiction.
