OOC - What drew you to the games you play?

Is there anything specific about the games you RP in that drew you to them in the first place? Was it the tone, the setting, the style of writing? Maybe sharing that will help new game developers know what to target when they create a new game on OW in the future! Or at the very least be an interesting read!

Personally, I was drawn to Blue Dwarf because I was, and still am, a huge fan of Red Dwarf. The idea of a humorous romp through space as a less than average human being was very intriguing to me. Then, as the game progressed during my time on it, it became a fantastical space adventure where anything could, and quite often did, happen. The tone could shift from slightly off-beat British comedy to dark and violent in a few posts. At first, it might seem jarring but it proved to be part of its charm.

What about everyone else?
