A Dying Droid on Denon

Aegon woke up in a back alley bar, he had a drink carefully perched in his hand. He had been waiting for hours to meet with a protocol droid carrying information that could be vital for the Alliance, it wasn't usual for a droid to be late. The bar was practically empty all except the bartender sat hypnotized by the HoloNet. Aegon picked himself up and went on his way, he left a few credits on the counter ready for when the bartender would return to the 'real world'. He stepped outside onto the massive urban-scape of the planet Denon. It was a lot like the Imperial capital world Coruscant only smaller; less intimidating. Like Coruscant too in the amount of Imperial stormtroopers were about the place. Baron was no stranger to them obviously with his occupation, he knew their flaws and he knew how to exploit those flaws. He started to suspect that his droid informant had been compromised.

It was the early morning, the sky was dark but the thousands of cloudcutters lit the streets as did bright neon signs displaying everything from Imperial propaganda to advertisements for luxury speeders. Baron Aegon wasn't a fan of ecumenopolis worlds. His homeworld of Czerialus was wild, cities were sparse and you were more likely to bump into a beast than another sentient being. After some thought he decided he better find this droid himself, he brought out a tracker and discovered that the droid's location was only a few meters west. The street it was on was dark but Baron could make out flashing light fading slowly. He approached slowly and with caution, this could be a trap, secretly he hoped if it was a trap that it was a deadly kind of a trap. Aegon couldn't risk being an Imperial prisoner.

He looked down and saw the Droid on the ground. "Mr. Aegon is it?" the Droid asked, it's voice modulation components clearly degrading. Aegon leered in to take a closer look at the droid, it was a RQ protocol droid exactly like how his superior had described. "What happened to you?" Baron asked.
"I was compromised, I'm sorry sir."
"Compromised? Compromised how?"
"Attacked sir, a group of miscreants took my data cores. The information is gone-"
"What kind of miscreants? Imperials?"
"No sir, gangsters. They knew I had Imperial data." The RQ's voice modulation components began to crackle even more until it was nothing more than a glitchy mess of words. "What would these gangsters want with this information..." Aegon wondered to himself. He pulled out a cutter tool and cut open the droid and took anything salvageable just in case any backup data fell into someone else's hands. Baron knew he had to find these gangsters and get that information back, he had hoped that his time on Denon would be a lot shorter than this but alas nothing was easy anymore.
