Lesson Learned in the Void

JP with Omni and Lorem:

When it was obvious that they had both finished, Gonyaul came to Voah reached out and took her by the hand.

“Voah, may share what learn from void? It help me return.”

He seemed noticeably restored in his demeanor from yesterday. Everything wasn’t rosy, not everything was alright; but he seemed at peace with it. This wasn’t the first hardships he had experienced in life. One might question, how is it you are able to bounce back from trials and tribulation? To smile over a blade made from the slaughter of your people? To bend but never break?

Voah smiled and gladly accepted his hand in the bliss of morning, hungry to know what was on his mind.

Gonyaul smiled appreciatively for the gift of her attention. He took her other hand too and faced her. He had a serious expression, one of certainty.

“I thank you for send me away. At time I feel all rejection and pain, my heart break. Now know my life save. But there more … “

He paused to think on how to explain it.

“I grateful because I go away. If not go, I no help Dorgarag grieve. If not hurt, I no be with new friends in Odsier. I no learn new things most helpful here to survive.” He gestured to their current environment.

“I no would be arranged to marry and no disappoint father at just right time to need to leave. If not rejected, I would be still Red Hand maybe always. No would you find me, so I can help you find tribe. Now many lives saved that would be lost if not you send me away. Thank you.”

He pulled her closer. “Kagim flowed and all things always work to good. Not know at time, blind in fears, but now see it.”
