New Discoveries

Madaya turned out to be an excellent teacher. Islana absorbed all the lessons, as she tended to do. It also helped that the redhead knew to not dismiss a child, just because of their youth. Many times they were more knowledgeable than people gave them credit for.

The hardest thing, for Islana, was learning to pace herself to this environment. She was used to just going and not having to stop so much. It helped that Madaya needed more breaks and the woman just took her cues from the girl.

There was a definite learning curve with everything. The sand was difficult to ignore but Islana tried and was starting to get the hang of it. The lessons of the plants, animals and Ozanine language were the easier ones for the huntress to learn.

They continued walking, of course, Islana took Madaya's small hand when requested. She helped the young girl whenever she could, without thinking too much about it.

Coming upon the ruins, the young woman tried to get a closer look, though she would have no way of really knowing much about them.

Now, where should they go? The valley? She would likely have to help the girl get down, not that Islana minded but they would have to be careful.

In a mix of broken Ozanine and gestures, the redheaded witch told the girl they were going to take the path to the valley. It just seemed to be the correct way.
