Islana vs The Skara (Part Two)

The Skara moved quickly, its claws reaching towards the young woman. Islana rolled more under the being, and kicked upward.

That sent the Skara scrambling forward, likely more from surprise than anything. Its giant tale swung down. Islana moved out of the way of the tail and to the side.

The huntress kicked at the Skara's leg. A movement that allowed her to get out from under it.

For its size, the Skara turned surprisingly fast and it faced the redhead again. Finding a stick, Islana held it out as a sort of shield. The Skara got closer and closer, when it suddenly stopped.

A rock landed on the side of the huntress, then another. It must be Madaya. Still, it was only a minor inconvenience for the Skara that had its mind set on the young woman.

Islana attempted to hit her attacker with the stick but it just snapped.

Any adrenaline gave way, along with her body and Islana found herself crashing to the ground. Her mind was swimming but still the attempt at her ability was tried. Not even a small spark. The witch's magik was completely drained.

The Skara suddenly moved its head in a semi-circle and attempted to swat at something. Islana caught sight of Kaithak flying upward then circling before diving towards the large creature once again

Despite, Madaya's rocks and Kaithak's attacks, it was pointless. Islana had given everything she had, there was nothing left. The creature moved on top of the huntress and right before closing her eyes, the last thing seen was the enormous head and claws reaching forward.
