Despite her fascination at the emerging figure and the sense of relief that washed over her that the quest she had embarked upon seem to be coming to fruition, Islana sensed something else.

Looking upon the wet and glistening expression of the Goddess there seemed to be something wrong. Something not quite right.

"To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don't grab hold of the it, because if you do you will sink and drown. Instead you relax, and float." Came the soft and gentle words that seemed to soothe her soul.

"All water has perfect memory and is forever trying to get back to where it once came from..." The words seemed to be teachings, tenets of the religion. Of The Wandering. The young penitent drank it all in but also saw a shadow fall across Yther's beautiful features. One of pain, of anguish.

"They are killing them. Spilling their blood across my twin's domain. Staining my own waters with their essence." The words came with such force that Islana was taken aback. "They are murdering the ones that answered The Call..."
