Gra'akast

Tarmen saw the land change slowly as they reached their destination. A great green oasis that resembled a lake of sorts, right in the heart of the desert.

He saw a huge walled city nestled in the north shores, that reminded him of the ruins that dotted the jungles of his homeland. A place stepped in history, forgotten by time. A huge dome commanded the skyline, against spires and strange flat topped buildings. The only larger city he had seen was Orb in Salos.

He tried asking Silina a few questions but the girl ignored him. Her eyes glued to a strange looking Obelisk in the distance outside the Holy City.

An hour later under the morning shadow of the huge pillar the girl touched the stone with her hand to huge cheers from the crowds. She looked back with a smile, as to say thank you and goodbye, before she was whisked away into the city leaving the animal and the goods to her saviour. Throughout this Tarmen was largely ignored, having had the presence of mind to hide his features.

He wondered if he would ever see her again...
