Islana watched the faces of the seven. She saw tears in the eyes of some and outrage in the face of others.

The tall man with the long dark hair face however was impossible to read. He maintained a stoic semblance that told nothing to Islana.

Whatever test this had been, how hard it might have been, Islana felt that her challenges were o my about to beginning.

A servant entered the room and placed a cup filled to the brim with fresh water and a small plate with unleavened bread in front of the woman, averting his gaze.

"Eat and drink slowly." Said the man with the long dark hair. "You have been in the arms of Felfar for almost five days." He informed her.

In the centre of the room the stone in the plinth glowed red, casting its glimmering light on everyone.

"Once you are done you will be taken to the Altar of the Twins, where you will meet your last Trial. Communion with the Immortal Seer."

He turned to leave, picking the stone from the plinth reverently. Some of the priests bowed to Islana, while others stormed out in anger.

Tamazzalt left Islana. The ritual stone in the folds of his robe. It would be placed in the altar ahead of her arrival.

He wished she had not been the one emerging from the Dream, but the Twins had made their choice known. All he could do now was play with the hand being played.

And the Ascendant had one last ace up his sleeve...
