JP - The Keep - Dormitory - Alex's Room

Later, around nightfall, Miyuki made her way toward Alex’s place. Dinner would start soon, but she knew he would probably be in his room with Beatrix and Jacob, all three making fun jokes and chatting.

Alex opened the door and smiled at Miyuki "perfect you're here come on in I just got about everything set up luckily I was right and there was a spell that will be able to do what you're looking for."

“Thank you for this, Alex.” Miyuki said and gave Beatrix and Jacob a gentle wave. They both waved back, smiling.

“I helped him find some of tha ingredients.” The leopard woman said with a soft laugh.

Alex chuckled and kissed her cheek before moving towards a book. "Didn't take me long to find the perfect spell but I wanted to make sure there was no side effects" he spoke as he began to prepare the ingredients "before we begin one last chance to back out so are you sure you want to do this?"

Beatrix only smiled and made sure to get herself and Jacob out of the way.

Miyuki nodded. "I'm sure."

Alex nodded and pointed to the magical circle with a privacy curtain that would come up to her neck. "You're going to want to take your clothes off for this hence the curtain and Beatrix to help."

Miyuki set her bag aside and went to the curtain. Beatrix walked over and calmly and helped the kitsune undress before returning to Jacob. She held onto the clothes so they could easily be returned.

Alex took in a breath and began speaking in an ancient language as the ritual began. Soon the circle began to glow and pulsing green that soon enveloped Miyuki. Soon the fur began to just fall off of her body except for the area she specifically told Alex that she wanted to keep. As the last of the fur fell off the spell ended.

To say she was shocked would be an understatement. As the fur fell from her, the kitsune gazed at her skin with wide eyes and felt lightweight compared to before. Her hands touched her stomach and she smiled before Beatrix brought her clothes back to her.

Once the clothes were back on, Miyuki pulled Alex into a hug. “Thank you.” She said softly.

“Now bathin’ won’t feel like yer carryin’ around two of ya.” Beatrix teased.

Alex smiled and returned the hug Happy to see a smile on Miyuki's face. "I'm happy to help" he chuckled "did you want to save the fallen fur if not I can dispose of it."

“No, I’d rather not keep it.” Miyuki said with a slight blush on her face. The clothing she wore was a little loose now. The only remotely tight area was her stomach due to the baby growing inside. “Could make a fur coat out of it, though.”

“How about a blanket for your baby?” Alex suggested.

“That could work.” Miyuki admitted with a smile.

“Ya’ll ready fer dinner?” Beatrix asked. “Jacob over here wants his dinner.”

Alex chuckled as he raised his staff and channeled his powers. The discarded fur began to glow and with a flashing of light turned into a blanket. Folding it he handed it to Miyuki.

It still shocked Miyuki how easily magic allowed Alex to do things like this. For a while it had frightened her but he’d proven to be a good man with good intentions for everyone around him, so she was far more comfortable around him. Taking the blanket, she smiled softly. “Thank you, Alex.” She said just as tears stung at her eyes.

Beatrix’s eyes went wide and she walked over to them. “Oh, honey, what’s wrong?” She asked, wrapping the other woman in a gentle hug.

“It just…it still hurts a bit.” Miyuki replied as she set a hand on her chest where her heart was. The rejection from Lek was still fairly fresh to her.

Alex walked over and pulled her into a hug "you're not alone anymore."

Miyuki sniffled and wiped the tears away. “We should go have dinner…” She said. “After that I need to check on Pinja again. I want to make sure she’s healing well.”

Beatrix nodded and went to Jacob, getting him to go on and run off to the dining hall.

Alex stopped Beatrix in the hall "before we had there I want to ask you something while we're alone."

Miyuki was slipping on her shoes again in the room, the only bit of clothing she had yet to pull on.

“What is it?” Beatrix asked.

Alex looked over to Miyuki “do you mind keeping an eye on Jacob for a moment?”

Miyuki blinked. “He already headed to the dining hall…” She said and began to follow the kid.

Beatrix waited.

Alex waited until Myiuki was out of earshot before facing Beatrix he didn’t want to make the foxgirl sad. “I owe you my life Beatrix I honestly wouldn’t be here without you” he began feeling extremely nervous. “Being with you and Jacob has made me more happy that you can imagine and I was wondering….”

"Wonderin' what, Alex?" Beatrix inquired softly. She always found this behavior so adorable.

Miyuki didn't need heightened senses ro know what Alex was trying to do. She prayed Beatrix said yes. He deserved happiness.

Alex gulped and closed his eyes before showing her the ring "I was wondering if you could ever see yourself being with someone like me. Will you marry me Beatrix?"

Beatrix's face heated up and she gazed at Alex. The ring was of little interest to her, but the intentions and the tenderness were what hit her. Hard.

Without thinking, she was upon Alex, her lips pressed to his in a passionate kiss as she mewled softly. Every fiber of her being was caving into instincts now - he finally asked and proved to her what he wanted.

"Yes," She said when pulling back for air

Alex face blushed heavily before picking her up and spinning her in the air in excitement before pulling her into a kiss.

Laughing during the spin, Beatrix returned the kiss and smiled. "Want to put it on me?" She asked, offering her hand.

Alex smiled and put the ring on her finger before pulling her into a passionate kiss.

Beatrix happily returned the kiss and smiled. “Ready to go get dinner? I wonder if Bjorn has told that odd woman how he feels.”

Alex nodded with a smiled and took her hand leading her to the dining hall.
