New Discoveries

After an hour Agent Orange then activated the stasis pods to open. It was a slow process as the liquid the females were submerged in drained out. When all four female clones opened their eyes they felt a surge as they imprinted on Agent Orange. They were very confused as they looked around. Agent Orange then told them he and the others were there to help them and began explaining the whole situation. Since it was going to be a long night the team decided to camp out at the lab and collect as much data as they could. Since Agent Orange didn’t need to sleep, he would stand watch while reading the research reports. The three clones were out of place but agreed to listen to Agent Orange since they imprinted on him.

As the girls slept Agent Orange began making clothes for the clones from the materials in the lab. Due to powers, skills and imagination he was able make something to accommodate the clones. Oliver stayed up with Agent Orange to make small talk so he could understand why Agent Orange was helping all the captured females. After a while Oliver learned that Agent Orange saw them as students who needed guidance and medical attention. Agent Orange wanted them to be independent but until he could stabilize their body chemistry. Oliver was impressed by the manner in which Agent Orange carried himself. Then Oliver told Agent Orange about his experience in the league and his downfall. It was then that he realized his only friend was Bruce and he died. Since then things got even worse for him especially when it came to his businesses.

Agent Orange nodded and told Oliver that business comes and goes with time. However family is something that can bring out the best of us in hard times. He pointed out how the bat family was working together to move forward even in hard times. If they needed money they could work together to get it on way or another.

Agent Orange asked Oliver about his companies and financial situation as well as his contacts only to find a lot of death and criminal activity. It was then that Agent Orange told Oliver that his student Jennifer the new Blue Beetle had a similar situation and she would have died if he didn’t intervene. He suggested not depending on the bat family for aid and start from scratch. Oliver listened to the wisdom of Agent Orange as he explained how he saw big business get to big and corrupt over time. It was best to invest in many smaller companies in high demand and build from there. Then the two men made a business plan together as the girls slept.

Since Oliver still had his family mansion in Star City they planned on using that as a new base of operations. They also made a list of medical technology needed for the girls and any injuries they might get down the road. When Oliver looked at the list his eyes widened and asked how they were going to afford all that technology when he himself had to borrow from Bruce for his new arm. Agent Orange opened his hand to reveal several memory data sticks. As it turned out Agent Orange made it a point to loot his enemies after he defeated them over the decades to keep them from rebuilding their empire. He especially looted from Raz al Ghul and his laboratories.

Oliver was hesitant at first but was reminded that Agent Orange was doing this for his students since it was the responsibility of the old to guide the young. Oliver understood the sincerity in Agent Orange’s voice. So he accepted the data sticks and took a long rest as Agent Orange kept watch.

The next day, Agent Orange had breakfast ready as well as new outfits for the three clones. After eating the group had a long discussion about their future plans since Gotham was in chaos. Oliver offered the use of his mansion and underground base for their new living quarters. Once Jennifer was ready to take over her family’s Business she could choose to stay or leave on her own. However since the others needed more help Agent Orange and Green Arrow agreed to make a place for the girls and others like them. Seeing the appeal, all the girls agreed to help out as well. However since they were not agreed on the name they put it on hold for the time being.

After looting everything they could in the lab they made their way to the Flying Fox airship. Since it was cold, Agent Orange provided the snow coats he collected while looting the lab. Then the team took off and set a course for Star City and Oliver’s secret lair he called the Quiver.
