Tomas abhors nature , he considers it "too primitive" and takes delight in being the ships phyciastrist,the title is entirely self appointed and he is not very good at it ,in fact he only really likes it because he is paid to find peoples mistakes or even make up syndromes to diagnose the crew with.his treatments are bizzare at best and sometimes make mattes worse
