Good (Murderous) Dog

Who:     Barf ChucksomeWhere:  In one dark room, with one mean pup. When:   As the dog tries to make Barf its snack.-----------------------------Well, Barf was still alive (in the breathing sense), but he wasn't sure how long he could keep the mean dog's teeth away with his boots (arms still tied).  This required a lot of hopping and a lot of pressure on the legs, not to mention a lot of sweat too.  Just he had the pooch pinned to the wall, a swell familiar voice came to the room:    "Hey Barf," Dent said.  "How's it hanging?"    "Oh, the usual," Barf said, busy with the dog.    "Yeah, whenever you get done with the dog, you should think about trying to stop Mk10."    "On my to-do list."    "Right. . . .  Oh, yeah, Dr. Norbin's dead."    "Okay, convince me."    "Mk 10 painted his blood onto me."    Barf didn't know if it was even possible, but he managed to pin the dog on the floor, allow it's hind legs to scratch of the lining that bound Barf's wrists, and then he knocked the dog out with the chair.  Breathing hard, Barf said, "Still not convincing enough, the doc's not stupid enough to talk to a thing he caused to go rogue."    "Especially since it's only half what's making Mk10 go kookoo," Dent agreed.  "I give, it was a clone that splattered all over me.  I didn't say that to Mk10, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.  Anyway,  I don't know what the Norbin is up to, but something tells me it's going to involve putting Mk10 in his place.  Oh, and Mk10 is going rogue because of the mid-way through the doctor's meddling, crashed into a personality data file.  Hehe, he thinks Dr. Norbin uses viruses."    "Who?"    "Mk10."    "Mk10 better be careful.  Something tells me that the doctor has his body wired, if not his personality.  Oh, and I also have the feeling the doctor may be a bit stronger than usual."    "Fun.  So, what's the plan?"    Barf thought about it for a moment.  Then he looked at the unconscious dog and an idea popped into his head.  "Dent," Barf said, "do you know how to make a cave bulldog attack its master?"    "This is why I hang out with you Barf," Dent said with a happy tone in his voice.    "If you could keep these doors locked until I need him, that would be helpful too."    "No problem."                      *                        *                        *Where:  In the halls, making a way to see the Captain.----------------------------------"So, now that we made a heat seeking missile," Dent said to Barf as he carefully made his way through the hallways of Blue Dwarf, "what happens now?"    "I need to get to the Captain," Barf said.  "Informing him might double our efforts.  Do you think you could do anything to Mk10?"    "I'll figure something out," Dent said, "but I'm not getting myself killed."    "That's fine, just find a way to stall him; and keep an eye on Norbin."    "Oh, right, about that."    "What?"    "See, I already know where he is."    Barf waited and tapped his right foot onto the the ground.    "He's making his way to the Captain as well."    "Sometimes, Dent, sometimes.  Just be ready to open the doors of the hell raising dog when I say so."    "No problem."    Barf went back to making his way to the Captain.  He just hoped he wouldn't be too late.  He also hoped to not run into Mk10.  Barf was pretty confident about surviving the robot, but he didn't want to go through that many bruises and burns just out wit the robot.  Besides, he had enough bad luck on his shoulders.<The next time someone wants to kill off one of my villains, it would be appreciated if I could be consulted before he gets killed off.>
