Dropping like Bards

Who: Shakespeare
When: Shortly after evading Skutters
Where: Some Duct.
-------------------------------------------
Still breathing his sigh of relief, Shakespeare shuffled down the duct
hoping that he was following the same direction as his new Chief of
Medicine.
He'd been warned about the Blue Dwarf before he'd even been
reassigned, back when he was working as Chief Surgeon aboard the NPF
Angelus. Living aboard the desolate cargo freighter had been will
sapping and so the highly limited crew had often told stories about
the things they'd heard involving the other fleets. Their pilot,
Alexader Loes, had had a brother aboard the Blue Dwarf. When the two
had discussed their separate posts, Loes' brother Kieran had always
had a madcap story to tell.
"I'st should hath paideth more attentions't!" He lamented, sneezing as
a particle of dust found its way into his nasal cavities. He wondered
again about what his good friend Charles had mentioned earlier.
What if he had been here for six years already? Why did he remember
nothing? Was it something similar to the amnesia he'd first
contracted twelve years ago? He'd never, ever regained his memory of
his life previous to waking in that space hopper. Would he ever
recall the last six?
Shakespeare was feeling very disconcerted about the stability of his
brain.
As he crawled he sneezed again, only this time he misplaced his
shuffling limbs. His right hand went down harder than expected and he
dislodged the ventilation section, causing the entire duct part he
knelt in to come away.
He crashed to the floor, in time to hear his good friend Charles speak.
"TWO evil doctors," spoke Keto.
Shakespeare felt confused about his now apparent proximity to a duo of
evil general practitioners, before noticing Keto's finger extended his
way.
"I be'est not evil..." Shakespeare groaned, the air knocked from his
sails.
"ONE evil doctor and ONE irritating moron," corrected Keto again,
grinding his teeth.
Shakespeare closed his eyes wearily and rubbed his side. No more duct
travel.
