Who: Jay and Efof
Where: Drive-room, onboard the JMC Blue Dwarf
When: An hour after Lester's post
The shrunken SS Enlightenment's batteries eventually died, and it
plummeted headlong into a mug of warm coffee. Luckily the holographic
crew had been transferred to the Blue Dwarf a few minutes before, and
Holly was now having to manage more holograms than he ever had before.
"Ahh, it's good to be back on the Blue Dwarf finally!" Said Jay
Chrysler.
"Yeah, it feels like we've been away for months." said Efof, who was
dusting the Drive room, which had been empty for so long.
"We have!" Jay said. "When it was sent into Krylon space, I thought
we'd never see it again. And then when we were all transferred to
other ships it seemed so definite."
Efof slapped a chair and made himself cough with all the dust that
came off it. "Well I guess we need a new Captain."
"Are you insinuating something?" Chrysler said.
"Well. Yes!" Said Efof. "Captain Calvert got shot and we don't even
know if he's alive or not... with all that green blood they might
still be doing tests on him, or even dissecting him!"
"Efof! Even if they discover he'd an alien, the SpaceCorps don't just
dissect aliens."
"They dissected me!" He paused. "Well.. they tried to. They cut me
open and took bits out and everything."
Jay tried to remember back that far. "Oh yeah... but you're okay now
though aren't you?"
Efof nodded and grinned. "So you gonna be our new Captain?"
Jay shifted uncomfortably. "I'm not so sure...."
"Go on!"
"Space Corps command would have to assign it to me specially.... and
they might have someone else in mind."
"Nobody knows this ship... and the crew... better than you! Besides,
I don't want another random person coming in and screwing it all up."
"Like Captain Calvert?" Jay joked.
"Yes. He's like one of those birds you have on Earth.... um... I
think it's called a 'donkey'. He comes in, flaps his feathers, makes
loads of noise, shits all over the place and then leaves."
Jay started thinking about being Captain full time. And it worried
him.
He sipped his coffee and realised it had a light-bee floating in it.
He removed it and gulped it down. His holographic body flickered
slightly and the coffee splattered on the floor.
"Holly what's going on!" He shouted.
"Sorry." Said Holly. "I can't keep up all these holograms at once."
Jay stood up and made his first command decision. "Warm up the
Wormhole Drive, we're getting our bodies back!"

Where: Just above the Mollopod planet
When: At the same time
Not everyone liked Mollopods. Actually, it was fair to say that most
people hated them. Mollopods had eaten quite a lot of humans, and
most humans didn't like this.
"This is the Amnesty International flagship 'AMS Nelson Mandela'!" A
voice echoed throughout the entire of the planet Mollopod, causing
most of the fat slug-like creatures to look up into the sky.
A spacecraft hung there, it looked about as threatening as it's name
suggested. But looks can be deceiving. The voice bellowed out of all
radios on the surface.
"I am Captain Bob Geldoff clone #388! We come in peace and we mean
you no harm."
The voice stopped for a minute, then started. "Actually that was a
lie. We are here in Amnesty International's first ever warship. We DO
mean you harm! We think it is wrong the way that you eat humans, and
feel no remorse about it. It is an indignity and it immoral. So we
are going to fire missiles at your densely populated areas to see how
you like it."
The Mollopods on the planet looked at each other and started moving
around in panic. Sadly, Mollopods aren't really made for speed so
they panicked at a snail's pace.
The AMS Nelson Mandela unleashed a mighty barrage of missiles that
struck deep in the heart of the Mollopod's nearest city. There was
less that a moments pause before it fired again.

Who: The sleeping Blue Dwarf crew
Where: The Medical building in the Mollopod city
When: Same time
The comatosed bodies of the Blue Dwarf crew continued to lay on their
beds as the assault started. Their building was not deliberately
targeted, but the shaking of buildings around them shook them around
on their beds.
Mollopod Medical staff had been monitoring the Humans vital signs and
feeding them nutrients whilst their minds had been millions of light
years away in a whole different universe. These people now fled the
building, leaving the Humans for dead.
A missile hit the tall building at it's base, and the entire complex
started to sway dramatically. It wouldn't take many more explosions
before the entire thing came down.

Hundreds of miles above, A swirling blue hole appeared in space just
behind the Amnesty International ship, and the Blue Dwarf sailed
through.
OOC – Our bodies are in danger! Someone stop the ship from destroying
us or we'll all have to live as holograms forever! Feel free to
destroy or disable the ship in any inventive or dramatic way, and let
us wake up in our own bodies.
