Time of arrival.

A blueish-whiteish sphere crackled with energy. Lightning rippling
across it's shape as it appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the
London Docklands.
The sphere cut into the bodywork of nearby truck trailers, as well
as the ground on which it stood.
It dissipated after a few seconds, leaving the surrounding areas cut
out in it's shape and three men crouched in the broken ground where
it had been.
A few hours ago, Jay, Dean and Phil had been enjoying a curry on the
Blue Dwarf.
Since then Jay had been shot at, and then the three of them were
whisked away against their will by aliens who referred to themselves
as `the archivers'.
Phil evidently was very familiar with them, and informed Jay and
Dean that they are a species from 3000 years into Blue Dwarf's
future. Dean, Phil and Jay had been dieified by these people, based
on the writings of "The Chry'ler Prophesies." Which was in fact
Jay's journal.
Phil, along with Mini-Phil and Evil Phil had been brought to the
future many times. And explained how, during most of his `leaves of
absence' (except for the time when he passed out drunk and awoke to
find himself trapped in the space between dimensions) he had been
summoned by the archivers and given a random mission to fulfil to
ensure the future's survival.
The Archivers entire society was based on Jay's journal, which had
been discovered amongst the ancient ruins of a faraway planet
centuries ago, and the aliens had….misunderstood…a few minor details.
Deans repeated crash landings had earned him the title of "God of
Chaos, Mayhem and Destruction" summoned forth to punish sinners.
Jay, was "Writer of the sacred prophesies, and keeper of the sacred
kebab."….apparently…
And Phil, was their god of war – and to the archivers, the most
divine creature to ever have existed.
Jay and Dean had laughed at this, and questioned the archivers why.
They had claimed, due to Phils infinite power on Thursdays, and his
ability to manipulate time and space.
Jay had mentioned in passing that the nearest Phil had to control of
time and space was passing out drunk on a Saturday night and losing
three days…
Nevertheless, this hadn't swayed them, and the aliens went on to
explain what was happening.
All kinds of terrorists from the archivers time had been plotting to
collapse the idyllic society in which they lived for decades. None
had succeeded.
That was until a new faction emerged, who, had somehow managed to
duplicate the archivers time travel technology.
"So" Dean had asked, munching on a `future toastie'.
So the archivers continued to explain. One terrorist, has used this
technology to travel back in time to attempt to assassinate the
trio. Their attempt on Jay's life aboard the Blue Dwarf had been
unsuccessful, so the assassin had gone back further. To a time when
the trio were less able to defend themselves. To a time when they
only existed as children. And it was up to the three Dwarfers to
protect them….
And so here they were, in the London Docks, the date was Thursday
December 9th, 2088.
"They didn't say anything about being naked!" Dean exclaimed, when
he realised that the clothes of the three had not travelled back
with them.
"Yes. They did" Jay said "Weren't you listening to anything?"
"I was busy!"
"Doing what?"
"Getting a recipe for future toasties…"
"DEAN!"
"What? To them it's the divine fruit!"
"What next?" Phil said, interrupting.
"We need to clothes. That's priority." Jay said "Then, weapons, and
some form of transport."
The others nodded in agreement.
"I say we split up. If we stay together like this we're bound to
attract more attention than we need. Meet back here in an hour"
"I'm not wearing a watch" Dean said. "How will I know when it's been
an hour"
"Look behind you"
Dean turned and say the clock face of Big Ben off in the distance.
"Oh…"
"Oh and Dean?" Jay asked
"Yes?"
"Are you cold?"
"No..why…."
"Just checking….big man…"
