Jupiter \"miming\" corporation. B\'doom TISH!

<Snip>
"You seem to have mastered the art of stating the obvious." Jay quipped, but he
was right. There was nothing they could do.
"We'll have to hope we can escape from their holding cells."
<End snip>
"PREPARE TO BE BOARDED!" came a voice over the ships speakers. Well, I say a
voice over the speakers, what it actually was a video of a white faced man,
miming the words on a screen. Still, somehow the crew managed to understand it,
although that may have been something to do with the fact that as the mimes sent
this message, several thousand of them began boarding the ship. Didn't take a
genius.
"We don't have a hope in smeg of fighting them off in our condition!"
Wildflower, still stood alongside Jay exclaimed.
"Good." Jay remarked "It's been a while since we found ourselves up against
impossible odds with little hope for survival…I love these moments, don't you?!"
"NO!" Wildflower snapped back.
"Is that why you dumped me?"
"No! I dumped you because YOU cheated on me with Alota, remember?"
"….oh…." Jay said "..yes…that's right isn't it……erm..sorry?!"
"Is that really important right now?"
"Not really, but I like to clear the air…makes for a better working
environment…"
"How can you be so calm when the ships about to be taken by an army of mimes?"
Jay didn't answer, but he was smiling, which infuriated Wildflower. Jay had
always been one of those people who had to have something going on all the time,
and the more insanely dangerous, or hopeless the situation was the more he
enjoyed it. He began to run off, toward the approaching mime-army. "Jay"
Wildflower called after him, dispensing with the formalities as an ex-girlfriend
was entitled to do, "Where are you going? Jay? JAY?!" she threw her arms up in
the air and ran after him.
She finally caught up to him. "What are you doing?"
"Having a little fun before they take us prisoner…we don't wanna make it TOO
easy for them.."
"But you're unarmed!"
"No I'm not…"
He made a motion with his arms, as though he were holding an invisible weapon,
and pretended to pull it's trigger, the first wave of mimes fell to the ground,
clutching various body parts as though they had been shot. Jay then tossed an
invisible grenade overarm into the mime's docking tunnel, causing several mimes
to throw themselves in all directions. For authenticity, one even tore his own
arm off. This cleared a path for Jay to the nearest communication panel on the
wall.
Getting a moments respite, having `slaughtered' the attacking mimes, Jay opened
a comm. line to the Drive Room.
"Dean" he ordered "Seal the drive room, engineering and any areas of the ship
that the mimes haven't yet penetrated."
"What..why?"
"Why do you think, you gonad?!" Jay snapped. He should have known better than to
entrust Dean to command the ship. That required brain power, and Dean wasn't
exactly known for that. Dean was only ever known to concentrate on anything when
in a "press the correct button not to die horribly" kind of situation, and even
then, it only took something particularly shiny to distract him again.
"mimes are boarding the ship and taking the crew prisoner, many of us won't be
able to fight them off, but if you can seal key areas, from them it'll give you,
and anyone within those areas time to get out of here, and mount a rescue
mission for the rest of us!"
He hung up the comm. line as another wave of mimes entered the promenade. Jay
held up his hands in surrender.
"Wait a minute…" Wildflower asked "Why can't you just use your invisible gun on
them again?"
"Invisible gun Jenny?" Jay scoffed "What are you on?"
"Ok, well, mimed gun then!"
"Ran out of bullets…"
"Oh for the love of smeg…." Jenny said, rolling her eyes, she was beginning to
become quite thankful that she and Jay's relationship had ended….
<tag. Some of you need to be taken hostage, some of you can be safely sealed in
somewhere on the ship ready to mount a counter-offensive! – perhaps with help
from Phil's resistance movement in this universe I'll leave that up to you…>
