Re: [JMC_Blue_Dwarf] (unknown)

Thanks for dropping to let us know how it went Chris, I'm glad it was a great day! I hope you said nice things about us!Congratulations to you both. Right, who do we marry off next? Justin and Onion??Sent from my iPhoneOn 4 Aug 2010, at 10:58, "Christopher Grigg" <cjgrigg@...> wrote:

...Who said we'd never read this? ;)

Thankyou Andy - Jen's currently busy tagging Facebook photos, while I'm sorting through wedding cards and ordering takeaway Chinese...
It is true, that Jen and I would never have met back when we were teenagers if it weren't for this group, and we are both very proud of this.
Blue Dwarf even got a big mention in my speech, as it should have. So you guys are all famous now... (or more famous I should say) Some people at the wedding were already aware of the group, my cousin being an old member.
Jen looked absolutely beautiful on the day (not a hard stretch for her at all - I'm a lucky guy, cause she always looks good), and almost had me in tears as she walked down the red carpet (I do say almost. I got misty is all. Just clarifying...)
An interesting side note - I was able to choose a special drink to be served during the reception, and I chose Apple Cider... Zodar found the middle ground! (for those who haven't a clue what I'm talking about, Zodar was too young to be served beer early on, and was served Apple Juice instead - much to his disappointment)
I'm sure I could go on for pages about every little detail, like how I wore a Leather Jerkin and Sword, or how we had "Eve & Zodar forever" engraved on the inside of our wedding rings, or how our wedding waltz was "Do you want to know a secret" by the Beatles (Jen loves the Beatles), but I won't bore you... ;)
...Oh, and instead of throwing the garter, I set up a dart board outside, each unmarried guy got one throw and the highest score won - it was only a lack of time in the end that stopped me plastering something like "ZODAR'S RADIAL-MATRIX KINETIC LOVE-INDUCER" on the backboard in day-glo orange paint (Can you even get day-glo orange paint? That'd be awesome - maybe I'll talk to Jen about redecorating).
Ok, Jen's stopped tagging photos (and there were a LOT of photos. One album down, god knows how many to go - I believe video also exists *facepalm*), and the Chinese is now going cold, so I better wrap this up...

I'm sure Zodar could find a way to do this, and reheat the meals to be toasty warm.

Oh yeah. Microwave...

Additional: Don't worry - it was a goooooood first night. ;)

A few years ago, Blue Dwarf was a much bigger group than it is now, with posting members numbering in the dozens. As well as members from all over the UK, we had alot of members in the USA and more than a hanfdul in Australia. Two of those Australian members, met here in the group for the first time. Now, today, I'm pleased to announce that they've only gone and got married!Congratulations to Chris Grigg and Jenni Etienne (Or is that grigg now too) who played Chief Engineer Chris Zodar and Science officer Eve Rimmer respectively. They'll probably never read this, but seeing as how it all happened thanks to us, I felt it deserved a mention! So here's wishing them great happiness in their future together. They sure as hell better name their first born 'Efof'!PS: Apologies for not having posted in a while, been really really busy in and out of work and have had very little time. I'll try to rectify that shortly. Stay Frosty people. Andy / Jay
