clones...

Jay passed the Science decks onh is way to the promenade, he'ed taken the pills Tara had given him and the ointments side effect seemed to have stopped. Up until about 10 minutes ago he'edhad a feeling he was being watched, but the only other epople in the corridor were Phil and dirk, arguing about the ethics of cloning in one of the science labs. Dirk had been saying that Phil was making a mistake. Cloning was wrong he was demanding. usig the various types of gelf as his example. Jay shruged and carried on walking.

above the laboratory, he listened. from the vents, Dirk didnt know how right he was....

Dirk had taken it on himself to patch up his wounds.  He had wrapped his leg inantibiotics and and ace bandage.  He was still hobbleing a little.  He decidedto make his way back to the science bay to do some work.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------With Saddam chigging away on a cloning machine design, Phil went and opened thetime fridge(which was STILL broken) and took out a small vial pouch. He laid it down on his desk and read off the labels on the bottle/vials whichcontained the DNA samples.Ex- Captain CannonCaptain NipplesMajor HarrisTara ClevageKetoShakespearPhil FeBuggure(Seeing this vial brought a smile to his face)Finally he saw the vial he was looking for. White Wolf.><<strange music inserted here >>--------------------------------------------------------------------------------The doors swooshed open and Dirk made his way into the lab.  Phil stood in thecenter with the vial held high.  "What are you up to?" Dirk asked (just in casemost of you missed it, Dirk is still angry with Phil for attacking him withoutprovocation)."I'm getting ready to clone White Wolf, if you must know."Dirk reached and grabbed Phil by the collar, "What do you think you're doing!Have you no idea of the ethical questions that you have raised!  We weren'tmeant to play God!  Hasn't the experience with the gelfs proven that enough foryou!  Man just isn't supposed to alter nature's work with the genetic code...Is that a bearclaw?"  He pointed at the pastry sitting on the table."Uh...yeah.""You gonna eat that?""No.""Can I have it?""Sure."Dirk picked it up and took a few nibbles off of it.  He then licked the sugarglaze off his fingers.  "Ummm.... tastey. ........ We shouldn't try and alterthat which has stood the test of time for eons!  Put aside your meglomaniacalconsepts of being godlike and leave genetics and DNA to mother nature!"OOC- you want to continue this, phil?-- Get your firstname@lastname email for FREE at http://Nameplanet.com/?suThe continuing adventures of the Blue Dwarf...www.geocities.com/bluedwarf2000To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to:JMC_Blue_Dwarf-unsubscribe@egroups.comYour use of Yahoo!
