"Chirs!" shouted Jay over in Zodars direction, "Can you take care of the hull sealing?, use whoever you need"

Jay revved the engine on his Jetski and sped around to the front of the ship.
Roskev was currently supervising the reconfiguration of the scoop
Jay was having a conversation with her when he felt something nudge the back of his jetski
He looked over his shoulder to see Jenny Wildflower
  "Uh, hi Jenny.  What can I do for you?"  "How's everything going?" she asked.  "Yeah, quite well actually."  "Must be exciting for Captain Niples to put you in charge of the operation?"  "It is, but Wildlfower, what is it you want?  I'm fairly busy here, and I'm having no help at all from that high and mighty scientist."  "Well, this may sound a little forward," began Wildlfower, nervous as anything.  "But I was wondering if maybe you'd like to do something this evening, you and I, go eat somewhere, or see a movie?"    She bit her lip as Jay was silent, wondering if she'd scared him.  Jay's calm expression remained.
He slowly raised an eyebrow,  this was quite a shock .
"How about we meet in Parrots at..say nine?"
"You got it!." she quickly said and sped off in her boat back towards the ship.
Jay heard a few sniggers form some of the engineering crew high above his head on the scoops arms.
Crewman Purser was the worst.."Chryslers got some boooooooooooooooootay!" he mocked
Jay reached under the seat of his jetski and pulled out the emergency flare gun, taking aim just past Pursers ear he fired, Purser ducked to avoid it, falling over 50 feet into the water below.
jay sped off back towards zodars team while Purser poked his head out of the water, spitting out a trail of sea water.
