"Why is it" said Rio,  stirring her chicken soup and walking back to the sofa in the pilots lounge. "That, although both of us are fully qualified pilots, its always Kara, Dean or Jay that get to go on missions" she looked to Efof for a response, but he gave none, he was busy playing Tetris on his game boy.
Rio shook her head and slumped back into her chair, "It just seems unfair that Dean has clocked up more than twice the flying hours either of us have in the last month or two, and most of those have been from crashing into the side of 'Dwarf"
"He needs practise!" said Efof, without taking his eyes off the game boy. 
"So whats the excuse for Jay getting to have all the fun"
"He's the boss...he's a better pilot than us and he's married to the executive officer"
"point"
"well put it this way, Kara, Jay and Dean are all off the ship at the moment, so anything that needs a pilot one of us will get it"
"In the middle of a lockdown and fuel shortage you really think they're gonna send out anymore shuttles?"
"Maybe..."
they were interrupted by Holly's voice from the main hangar.
"Miss Cleavage-Febuggure, we are under lock down, you do not have flight clearance"
Lomaz got up to see what was happening. Amber, was trying to hotwire the Phoenix.
"Amber, what are you doing?" she asked, not really wanting an answer.
"I wanted to take the Phoenix for a joyride, but Holly wouldnt let me go!"
"Forget Holly, Chrysler would have you cleaning exhaust vents for the rest of your career if you flew that!"
"yeh...well..." Amber said, leaping down from the cockpit hatch.  "I havent gotta worry, I couldn't hotwire it anyway, and I doubt Alota would give me the keys"
"Not likely!, c'mon lets go get a drink, I wont tell your mom!"
"hey whats that..." Amber said, pointing at something she'd not seen before.
Rio looked over, "thats new...."
It was the sled that the Evil Robot Santa had arrived in, fully stocked with missles, laser cannons, heavy duty armour and carol singers.
When Rio and Amber realised what they had found they both smiled widely.
"Looks like we might get some action after all....." Rio said "Amber, get your flight suit."
