newest addition to the fleet, and no, not a new member

ooc: sorry for not posting in so long, i have exams coming up, and tony was
sposed to post before me, but he hasn't.... he has now lost the chance to
get his own ship bwaha...haha...hahaha...ha...
who: keats and Jack
when: the long time from the last post tony or me made, and where the
timeline is now
where: the hangar of the GD
anywho, last time we saw jack and keats, they had pissed off on a bike down
to the hanger, where keats started to eye up some ships, unfortunately the
security on the larger interdictor class of ship was top notch and no matter
how hard keats tried, Jack would just not turn into the engineer, he didn't
even change out of the scientist... which felt strange for both of them...
"come on!! blancmange for gods sake!!!" yelles keats, after which he gave up
and tried to find himself another ship. Jack just kept mullering around a
small interceptor, which didn't seem to have enough security for its
power...
"hey, what're you up to man?! thats only a one seater, we are looking fo a 2
man ship you idiot!!" yelled keats when he found out, but jack jst turned
and said "you know how much potential a craft like this has??, we could
upgrade it to have 2 seats, and more firepower than you could ever hope to
have on an interdictor, plus, lok how cool it is, i mean, its got 3 fins, 4
laser cannons, it looks alot like an X-wing, apart from its red, and longer,
more streamlined, and has more powerful engines...."
keats blinked...
"what? it is!!!" replied jack...
keats buggered off at that moment, he put on a space suit and moved toward
the air lock, shouting back to jack "i'm going to see if there is another
hangar i can get to from here!"
jack ignored it, but aknowledged it at the same time, if that possible... he
returned to the interceptor, using his custom laser cannon, he adjusted some
controls, and used it as a blow torch, cutting through the chains and rings
and panels of bits that held it in place, it shuddered and rose 2 inches off
the ground. "cool, its got anti grav engines, i like!!" he then moved over
to the wall, where a control panel was, he switched it on, and began
searching the database for records of the ship, once he found them, he
searched for its CPU spec, saying to himself "wow, i never thought an
interceptor would be so damn good, this CPU is better than the main unit of
the Green December!!!" then he took a step back, clicked his fingers, all of
them... and stepped back up to the control panel, flicked a switch on his
gun, and some wires flew from it into the wall unit, and the gun sprouted a
monitor and a keyboard, he leant against the wall, and typed like his life
depended on it, unfortunately, it did, as the security on the CPU was the
highest grade he had ever seen, one wrong move, and the whole area would be
filled with pure alcohol, not that it wouldn't have been fun, but that was
enough to kill anything... after an unknown time slot, the thing beeped, and
the interceptor slid forward, and landed. The cockpit cover rose, and a
ladder fell down by the side of it, fuel lines flew to its side, clamped on,
and began to fill it, Jack opened a small word file, entitled 'mental notes'
he added a line to the seemingly endless list 'create better fuel for 'the
cataclysm'. He then shut down his gun, took the air cable for keats, and
plugged it into his ship. He got in, powered it up, and flew out of the
hanger doors....
