OOC: Back :D

hey, i'm back from my 'holidays'
isn't it always the way that when you've got to the stage you decide you need a nice relaxing holiday, and you book you're place in the sun, in a nice place with a pool that looks large and luxurious and that's near to the bars and the beach.
atleast, that's what it's like in the brochure...
in reality, it's a hell hole, where:
the pool is so small i could lay across it and not fall in, stand in the deep end and still have my eyebrows above water and not only that, but it's full of kids from 9am till 7pm (pool opening times)
Also, there is a limited maid service, which meant having to clean your own bloody room, if you didn't, no deposit ... and you had to take your own rubbish out ... disgraceful.
The only thing that was true in the brochure was the 'close to shops and bars' bit ... right above them, ones that are open till 4 am, with drunken dutch yobs screaming and shouting and no double glazing to keep the noise out. Not even being on the 5th floor helped.
By the end of the week I was looking forward to going home, and now i'm home, i'm just writing this e-mail and i'm going to crash for 15 hours to catch up on some well deserved sleep...
