Re: my ever so kind *warning* from our lovely resident hamster ENOUGH NOW!!!!!

Ok guys let's stop this now before it gets to the next stage which
is to say the warning to stop flaming becomes in a sense a flame war
with half the group saying I agree then the other half say I don't
agree and then it degenerates to the point where it is reduced to a
couple of 5 year olds going "Oh yeah you don't agree with me well
then you smell".
Obviously everyone has a right to voice their opinion but (and you
might disagree with me on this one) I've seen many and I do mean
MANY groups fall apart because someone says something and others
react to it by saying "ok I think your wrong etc etc..." But then
the whole situation goes downhill as everyone starts shouting and
insults start flying and everyone forgets why we are all arguing in
the first place it all becomes about "That guy said something about
me...I must insult him back the git" The question here is...IS IT
REALLY SO DAMN IMPORTANT A TOPIC THAT IT REQUIRES FLOODING PEOPLE'S
INBOX WITH A PILE OF MAIL!!!
I hate to see good groups brought down and maybe I'm going a bit
over the top but I've seen other groups start conversations like
this and after a few people raise their opinions about a matter then
the original poster basically posts defending his or herself and
then people start making direct comments about the person in
question and then it all flows from there...maybe that wont happen
here but please stop it now just in case it does.
Bottom line is WW warned someone because as he said he as a
moderator felt that it was out of order which is his opinion. Now
please explain why it takes 15 people to point out that he over
reacted...We're all here to RP right not start a smegging flame
war. Remember don't incite the wrath of DOOM HARBINGER :)
Cheers
Malcolm "DOOM"
P.S sorry bout the delay Emma I've been tied up all week but I'll
make an attempt to post something tommorow
