(no subject)

A series of explosions rocked the ship, and the entire starboard cannon
array went up in flames, each one blowing up in sequence beneath the X-Wing
piloted by Chrysler as he opened fire on each of them one by one.
"THATS THE CANNONS TAKEN CARE OF!!!" Jay shouted into the comm, "If we can
keep the battle on the starboard side of the ship then they have to turn the
whole ship around! That'll take hours so concentrate on the ships on THIS
side!! Don't fall for any baiting tactics!!!"
"Roger"
"Got it!"
"Affirmative!" came the various acknowledgements from the space-borne crew,
except one. "What?!" came the response from a certain craft. As its pilot,
Dean Thomas chased after a Hymenoptera fighter leading it over the ship's
horizon and into the port side. "DEAN!! NO!!!!"
Jay screamed, as the Raven disappeared out of sight, behind the Blue Dwarf.
"Every time.........." Jay muttered, "That dude needs shooting...."
He flew under the Dwarf, and past the Raven, releasing the tow line as he
did so, staring the much smaller crafts engines as it yanked the enormous
carrier clear of the cannon shells seconds before they opened fire.
"Dean!!" said Jay, releasing the towline, retracting it back inside the
ship. "When I say 'Don't fall for any baiting tactics'...that means exactly
that! DONT FOLLOW THEM INTO A SMEGGING TRAP, GOON!!!!"
"Oh right...yeah I missed that...!"
Jay shook his head as he flew alongside the Raven, looking across into
Dean's cockpit. "The load of the Raven was more than this ship can safely
handle...my engines are gonna burn out in half the time they should
do...either that or the ships gonna tear itself apart, you shoulda heard the
creaking..." he said to Dean "So..." he switched on the comm, after saying
this, this time spekaing to the entire fleet "LETS GET THIS OVER WITH!!!
GIVE 'EM HELL!!!!!!!"
The Hymenoptera fighters were vastly outnumbered, and were, slowly, becoming
over-run. Jay breathed a sigh of relief as he watched more and more Bug
ships were disabled, or outright destroyed by various types of weaponry. He
just hoped the boarding crew were faring as well. (HINT PEOPLE POST FOR
SMEGS SAKE!!!)
