Emma Bonney Roberts walked over the debris. Vending machines were smoking, windows were smashed and everything was ruined. Before her was the remains of the parrots bar. Emma went on to her knees, put her arms in the air and yelled, “Noooo!!!!” Her eyes filled with tears as she thought of all the drinks that had been destroyed. She held a private moments silence for all the smashed bottles and crushed beer cans. “No,” she told herself, “I’m not going to stay here crying. I must go on a mission. A mission to find more booze!” Emma stood up with determination on her face. She picked up her machine gun and slung it over her shoulder. “No one will get in my way, no one.”
The first place she thought to look was the cargo bay, there was bound to be some alcohol in there. Emma made her way to the lift that would take her down there. On the way she came by a coffee machine that seemed to be in full operation, well it wasn’t fizzing or smoking anyway. Emma cleared her throat and spoke clearly. “One coffee.” “What do you say?” came the reply from the smarmy coffee machine. “I say any vending machine that tries to educate me gets their circuit boards shot to pieces.” She aimed the gun at the machine. “Alright, alright.” A cup popped down and was filled with coffee. “I only want to be treated in a polite and courteous manner.” “Curtain what?” “It’s not fair that I should be treated…” “Do you have any alcohol?” asked Emma, ignoring the rambling machine. “Alcohol? Certainly not!” Before he could continue Emma was gone.
Emma took the lift and eventually made it to the cargo bay. She ignored the crowd of people who seemed to be in a serious discussion, well a discussion. She walked towards some crates and began searching them for anything with alcohol in it even if it was supposed to be used for medical purposes. A man left the crowd and walked up to her. “How you doin? Can I help?” asked Chris Harris. “I’m…” She began angrily but as she turned she saw that Chris held a bottle of beer. Before he could react she had snatched it away and drunk its contents. “Thanks.” Emma said as she handed him the empty bottle. “Hey!” “I needed that,” she continued, “So what’s going on here?” “We’re just thinking of how we’re going to clean this place up.” “Can I help with parrots? The sooner that place is back to normal the better.” Said Emma, desperate for more alcoholic drink. “Yeah, I’m sure you can” replied Chris, “another beer?”, he said, nodding towards a large crate piled high with every alcoholic spirit you could imagine. “Something stronger please” she eyed Chris with a growing intensity. A Smile spread across her face, she thought he was quite cute. He handed her a whole bottle of vodka. “Don’t drink it all at once” Chris chuckled. “I wont” she smiled at him again, Chris returned the smile. “Big mess this isn’t it” Chris gestured in different directions until Emma finally got the point that he meant the dwarf. She blushed “um…yeah” she replied, still her eyes were fixed on him “You busy as soon as this mess is all over and done with” Chris asked, his eyes met her eyes….. “No, why” “Hey, err…” “Err what?” “When all this mess is finished,” said Chris, would you like to go out with me sometime?”, she smiled and nodded vaguely,  “dinner’s on me.” Chris handed Emma his number on a piece of paper. “Err… okay, sure.” Replied Emma, quite surprised. She smiled at him. Things were looking up.
