"Which way?!" asked McJohn hopefully
"Well how the smeg should I know?!" Jay snapped "You think I've been here
before or something?!"
"Just assumed that with you being chief of navigation an all....."
"I'd know my way around every thing...ever.."
"Naturally"
"Phil?" jay sighed "Any luck?"
"Don't ask me" Phil replied "I can't even find my way around my wife!"
"And you fathered 2 children?"
"Why don't we just use the wormhole drive detector?!" Phil asked
"Who do you think I am? Batman?!" Jay asked sarcastically
"no wait!" said McJohn "He might be onto something!"
"WHAT?" Jay asked "Theres no such thing as a wormhole drive detector!"
"Not yet...pass me your navi-pad"
"Why?"
"Sod ya then.." said McJohn, and took Jay's navi-pad, the palmtop computer
used by all navigation officers, out of its holster on Jay's hip
"Oi!" said Jay
"Let him play with it..." said Phil "The only thing you use it for is Tetris
anyway"
"Thats not true" said Jay, hurt
"Alright...Tetris and Donkey Kong"
"Thank you"
"There!" said McJohn
"What did you do?"
"Simple! I rigged it to track the type of radiation the wormhole drive put
out, kinda like a mix between the navi-pads compass function and a giga
counter!"
"Nice" said Jay "but doesn't something have to BE radioactive for a
radiation detector to track it?!"
"Well yeah...obviously.."
"Just so were clear" said Jay
"Why?" asked McJohn "Whats wrong?"
"Nothing" said Jay "Just the wormhole drive isn't radioactive"
"Then what powers it?!"
"Standard 3-pin adaptor plug...."
