Hello Crewmembers!
I am honoured to be hosting this years Award Ceremony, thank you to
the higher-ups and council members who have let me do this.
First of all I would like to take a few moments to remember DJ
Longwood, the person who these awards are named after. It's always
sad to see someone leave an RPG group, but to have someone taken by
death is even worse. However, DJ still lives on in our minds and we
shall never forget her.
The Longwood Awards have been an annual event since 2001. They are
here to award crewmembers that have excelled in their posting
abilities, creativeness and general all round awesomeness. This year,
it covers the months from October 2003 up to the 30th September 2004.
Each one of you gets a say in who they think is the best in each of
the listed categories bellow. Nominations should be sent privately by
e-mail to me at 'skycedrada @ aol.com'. If there are too many
nominations or there is a tiebreak situation, I will post polls of
the top few nominations so there can be a vote.
I have dropped some categories this year, as there have been no
active members to vote for! If there are any serious objections to
the lost categories, e-mail me at the above address and I shall add
the category to the list if I see fit to do so. The 'most annoying
character' category is not designed to cause offence as voters are
asked to vote for the character not the person behind him or her.
I am setting a deadline of midnight (12:00pm or 00:00) gmt (London
time) on the 17th October for all nominations to be in so that I can
add up and tally the results. Any votes handed in after this date
WILL NOT COUNT. You cannot vote for yourself.

Lastly I would just like to say in my eyes I think everybody should
win an award just for participating and posting on Blue Dwarf over
