They all just ignored him and continued on to the medibay, which was just around the corner.Where: MedibayWho: The same team, plus Dr Keto, the Pink Tree, Cerebrum and Tara CleavageAs they entered the medical centre, the strong of medicinal alcohol was incredibly strong. Tara was spraying it all around the walls and floor. "What on Earth are you doing Tara?" Asked Seymour as Keto had a look at Amber."Its alcohol, it kills Hymenoptera remember. They won't come near the stuff. Its working so far, they've kept away from here." Seymour's face lit up. "Of course! That's the way we can beat them! Alcohol!"Suddenly Tara noticed Amber laying on a medical bed on the other side of the ward. "My… my baby, what's wrong with her? "Seymour tried to hold her back. "No Tara, no. you can't help her!" Tara struggled free and went over to her daughter's side and wept."I'm sorry, Amber is dead." Announced Dr Keto. Cerebrum extended his abilities as psychiatrist to the grieving mother."Listen Doc." Said Seymour to Keto. "How much of that medical alcohol do you have left? We could really use some to kill of these Hymenoptera." Keto shook the bottle. "That's the last of it, it's all gone." Seymour's face sank."But there may be hope!" Keto said. "I've been working on this ointment, a gas that could spread around the ship and intoxicate them." He showed Seymour a test tube over a bunsen burner."Will it work?""It needs more work I'm afraid, at the moment all it will do is give them a nasty cough."It was at this moment that the lights flickered and dimmed, and emergency red lighting came on. Tara stopped weeping in shock. There was the sound of scuffling coming from above."Okay… so you sprayed the walls and floor with alcohol, but what about the ceiling?"Keto shook his head. Just them, a Hymenoptera claw broke through the ceiling, and stabbed Cerebrum with a long sharp claw. It stabbed straight through his torso and dragged him up into the ceiling where he disappeared from sight.Another Hymenoptera reached down, in the commotion, Dr Keto's Bunsen burner toppled off the bench and hit the floor. The alcohol covered floor immediately caught alight."Crap!" Yelled Keto. Everyone scurried onto tables and medical beds. Unfortunately this brough them closer to the ceiling, and the Hymenoptera.Jack started shooting up into the ceiling, one Hymenoptera fell to the floor which started burning and spreading the fire even more.In the corner, the Pink tree wasn't quick enough or agile enough to climb to a higher place. It's bark skin caught fire immediately and its foliage burned to a cinder in seconds. Tara was still cradling her dead daughter when the fire started, and the fire quickly spread across the room to Amber's bed, where it started to burn her corpse."Noooo! My baby!" Tara shouted, running towards Amber and trying to move her. The fire spread up her arms and legs and she started to panic, she ran around the room on fire. Another Hymenoptera dropped from the ceiling.Tara tried to climb up onto the desk Seymour was on, but he pushed her back. "I'm sorry Tara, only room for one hot person up here!"She collapsed to the floor and continued to burn.Jack saw what Seymour had done. "Seymour! That was un called for, you murd- AAARGH!" A Hymenoptera from above stabbed a long claw into his good eye and picked him up by it. He was thrown across the room where he collided with Keto's ointment. The ointment splashed into his wound and started to burn away at his face. He screamed and collapsed on top of the burning Tara.Keto, Dante, Eric, Johnny and Seymour looked at each other across the room. They were all stood on top of things in the room. "We'll have to make a break for the door!" Shouted Dante, and leaped across the flames to the exit. He made it and urged the others.Eric Lustbader joined him, then Seymour. But as Johnny and Keto jumped, the ceiling started to collapse from the fire and Hymenoptera damage.A large pylon landed on top of Johnny. Keto ran over to him. "Its okay Johnny, I'll get you out!" He started to dig away at the rubble. He pulled a sheep of metal off his head. "That's it! Johnny? Johnny?" He slapped his face to keep him awake and Johnny's head rolled away. It had been severed from his body. Keto was not squeamish at the most of times bust even this made him jump to his knees and want to run.He ran to the door, but another falling pillar fell on top of him, crushing his leg."Come on Keto!" Yelled Dante, as he saw a Hymenoptera drop into the room and scuttle over the debris towards the doctor. Dante fired a few shots to warn the alien off."Its no good, my leg… its trapped!" Keto said."You're a doctor!" Said Seymour. "Amputate!"Keto realised that this was his only option, and removed the surgical knife from his pocket. He braced himself and started a neat cut through his leg. "Hurry doc!" Shouted Dante.Keto bit his lip and started hacking at his leg. Blood squirted everywhere. Seymour gagged at the sight and looked away.Keto broke free of his leg and tried to hop over the debris. He fell on his face. Another piece of metal fell from the ceiling and trapped his arm."I'm stuck again!" Keto said."Amputate!" Said Seymour. Keto bit his lip and started hacking away at his arm. He could feel the flames licking at his good leg, and the Hymenoptera drooling down his back.He sliced the arm off and crawled to the door with one leg and one arm. "Nearly there doc!" Seymour yelled. He grabbed the disabled doctor and pulled him out of the room."Well that was pointless!" Muttered Keto."How so, you survived!" Said Eric with praise."Because now I've lost so much bloody I'm going to die anyway!" Keto said, and feinted."Oh smeg." Said Dante.The Hymenoptera appeared at the doorway. "Time to leave!" Said Seymour. Eric, Seymour and Dante ran and left Keto. "So where are we going?" Asked Eric. "I think Parrotts." Said Seymour."Now is not time for a drink Seymour!" Said Dante."No, Alcohol!
