**Actionette** Flooded

OOC - Mostly written by the great Onion, but I helped as well. So, JP
between me and the almighty GM himself.
OOC2 - Too much college work is bad for you. AS are hedges and the
common cold.... don't ask... Just take it on faith I have been absent
for good reasons.

Who: Seymour, Jay Chrysler, Efof, Amber, Dante, Kotchanski and Jenny Bond
Where: On the way to engineering, Walking past the flight deck
When: Crossing different time periods from the last 4 years

They walked past the flight deck and Seymour ducked his head through the
door curiously. "Jay look, it's the Valkyrie! Kayn's old ship!…I'd really
forgotten how crap it looked. We used to actually let him fly it?"
"Yes Seymour I know, I saw it earlier." Said Jay, then turned back. "We let
him fly it in the hope that he'd probably crash it and get killed."
"But its so cool and oldschool…." Said Seymour .
Seymour looked around the hangerbay, he came across an old familiar face.
"Jason Smegg!" He called out, and shook hands with the ex-crewman. "Gimme
some skin matey!" Said Seymour trying to be cool, and held out for a high 5.
"Don't keep me hanging man……"
"Erm…. Whats wrong with you Seymour?" Asked Smegg, who hadn't been around
for a long time, so didn't know about Seymour's new desire to be cool.
"Oh nevermind." Said Seymour. Then looked around to see Dante and Jenny Bond
scratching their heads. "This is Jason Smegg, he joined the Blue Dwarf not
long after we left spacedock, but later on he transferred to the Pink Dwarf,
a ship full of trainee nurses. The bastard."
"I did what? I'm a what?" Said Smegg.
"Erm, nothing!" Said Seymour.
Alert bells started to ring out in the hangerbay again and the hanger door
opened to let a battered Space Eagle fly in. Outside could be seen a
nasty-looking space battle.
"Whats going on now?" Asked Amber, starting to get frustrated with all the
time shifting, and unable to shake the feeling she was surrounded by
morons who needed to be purged from existance.
"I'm not sure." Said Jay.
Without much warning, time shifted again, this time daylight could be seen
through the open hanger door, and a large wave of water swashed in. The wave
hit the shuttles and washed them into the far wall. Jay helped Amber and
Efof up onto a ladder before they got wet. Dante climbed ontop of a fuel
barrel, while Seymour spent too much time looking around he got knocked over
by a wall of water.
"This looks familiar!" Said Jay. "This is when we landed in an ocean on the
Aeron planet!"
Seymour stood up in water up to his waist and spluttered. "Crashed you
mean?! And remember who was at the helm controls!" He pointed an accusing
finger at Jay.
"Yes but remember who told me to go through the space gate that took us
there!" Jay defended and passed the accusation back to Seymour.
Seymour turned to Jason Smegg again, just to see him be impaled by a harpoon
weapon. Stood behind him was an Eniram soldier, a scaled humanoid with the
face of a disgruntled fish. It removed the harpoon from Smegg's back and he
dropped to the floor.
"Remember these guys too Jay?" Asked Seymour, fearing the fishmen.
"Yes but they never killed Smegg!"
"Well they have now!" Seymour tried to run away from the Eniram soldiers,
but running in water was too difficult, he looked too much like a spastic
chicken. Efof laughed at Seymour's run, while Dante picked up a can of WD 40
and lobbed it at the Eniram soldier, knocking him down.
Dante, Seymour, Efof, Amber, Jenny and CK exited the flooded flight deck,
Jay stayed behind to seal the flood. This time vision may only be temporary,
but it was still a threat to the ship.
As they exited, Efof tried to put his arm around Amber. "Oh I'm so glad you
didn't get hurt, I couldn't bare anything happening to you." Amber rolled
her eyes and surpressed the urge to hit Efof.
"Quit it Efof, I'm not in the mood." she scowled.
Efof was still dreamy eyed, he didn't give up. "Do you know whet we do back
on Ffion when we fancy someone…." He whispered in her ear until she slapped
him.
"Stop it Efof, I'm not in the mood!" Amber's eyes flashed a darker black for an
instant. Jenny noticed it for the first time, Seymour saw it for the second
time – the first time he had been attracted to the danger he could see
reflected in her eyes.
She shook the complete darkness off, but it didn't look easy. Amber wailed and
punched Efof across the face.
He spun, and fell to the floor.
Dante held Amber back. She struggled for a few moments then realised
it was futile so pretended to calm down.
"What the hell was that?" Asked Jenny, turning to Seymour.
Seymour was still staring at Amber in awe. "Erm… it happens sometimes, I'm
not sure. Its sort of…. Attractive."
"She looks dangerous!"
"Isn't that what I said?" Seymour smirked.
Dante pulled Amber into an adjoining corridor. "Amber, get a hold of
yourself! This is happening more and more, you are loosing control!"
Suddenly, time shifted around them. The corridor rippled and suddenly looked
slightly dirtier, half of the wall panelling had been blown off, like there
had been a fight in the corridor. The rest of the group joined them.
"So when did this corridor get damaged Seymour?" Asked Jenny, who was taking
in an entire history lesson of the ship.
"I'm not sure, I don't think this has ever been damaged…"
"Maybe this is…. The future!" Efof said dramatically, and waggled his
fingers in front of his face for added eerie effect. He was thumped by
Amber.
They all turned to hear a ranting and wailing coming from up the corridor.
They looked to see a ghostly apparition of Amber in a different timeline,
she was being dragged and manhandled by two security grunts against her
will.
Amber and Dante watched in horror as Amber struggled like an animal to get
free of the two guards. Her feet were in chains and she was almost foaming
at the mouth. As the future vision passed by them, the chained Amber looked
directly at her counterpart, with the darkest black in her eyes.
The future vision passed them.
"What the hell was that?" Asked Efof. "I don't think I fancy you anymore."
Amber turned to them all, as confused as the rest of them. "Yes what was
that? That was the future? What happens to me? I get chained up?"
She looked like she was about to lash out again, her eyes darkened
further than they were already.
"Well you did look a bit…. Mad…" Offered Seymour.
"MAD?! SO THAT'S THE SOLUTION IS IT? CHAIN ME UP?" Amber shouted, and knocked
away Dante's hand on her shoulder to try calming her down.
"Its not happened, it's the future…" said Dante.
"SO THAT MEANS IT WILL HAPPEN! YOU'LL ALL TURN ON ME WILL YOU?"
"I …. Urm…. Well obviously." Said Seymour.
Amber scowled at him through black eyes and ran away from the group.
