Hair of the Dog

-Dalen Capital, Grand Theater, Late evening 2 DSTR-

“They are not Hell Hounds, they are something else.” Randel said, “I have studied up on them and the record the Bards keep have nothing on them, so they must be a new construct, or something the Queen has hidden from even the Bards.” He explained and looked at Celestia through the bars of the cage from the other side of the wagon.

The creature was impressive, this was to be sure, and he walked around the cage he wished he could see magic the way those who were gifted with it could. He could puzzle out the secrets of magic and learn it all he wanted, but the spark was not inside him.

As he finished his circuit he was handed a box, and this box was offered to Celestia. “Cerce, this should be the blood and hair you requested.”

Sarx watched the exchange, folding her arms. “I am going to go with them, I should see this is finished and my people are seen too.” She looked at Celestia as if she needed to have her approval. Clearly Sarx did not wish to be around the woman any longer then she had to be.

Randel looked between them and smiled. This would be an interesting turn of events. "Perhaps you should let her go, and we can continue the opera. It may not be to her liking." He nodded to Sarx. "Your people did well tonight. Remember, this does not get back to me, if it does, they will have all your assets." He reminded her needlessly, but a reminder just the same.
