Hmm, typical human behavior, blaming all their problems on someone else. Outloud, Nim commented, "Is that so? I don't see what you are so worked up about then. You look like someone from a wealthy family, surely your folks or spouse can expain this 'misunderstanding' to whoever is in charge these days and secure your release."

Just then Nim had a thought, and although she dreaded the answer, she felt the need to ask, "So, um, nobody tells me anything down here. Do you... do you happen to know what today's date is?"
