Conwood was surprised at how quickly nothing mattered but the food in front of him. This allowed her to infer he didn’t eat like this often. How could someone not get the option to have a full belly if they get hired by high borns? Waiting to ask more questions about his hunt for Ms. Hibiscus, she let him enjoy his meal.

“I slept fine. I’ll be honest, it was strange sharing a bed.” Leaning forward, she grabbed a fork and played with her food. Her actions forced a memory upon her that involved her waist and shoulders being tied to a chair, and eating her meal with a slow pace. She could almost hear her mothers shrill voice, “Don’t play with your food, Winifred!”. Putting her fork down she made an uncomfortable look, and looked around at the dining area. It seemed a lot of work for only one person to be running the Inn. “Do you think the Innkeeper struggles running this place alone? I mean, it has got to be difficult. Especially with travelers- I can only imagine the mess they leave.”

Clearing her throat she turned her attention back to Artem. “So, how did Lady Hibiscus react to her daughter running off? How did she find you?” Her eyes scanned for the Innkeeper once more, she was curious about the other individuals who stayed here.
