Ceriden nodded. The money would most certainly be appreciated, as being an itinerant scholar did not pay terribly well, but there was something that he wanted even more than the gold. Deciding to press his luck, Ceriden replied, "Excellent. One more thing though... let me keep this book if you are satisfied with the outcome of the spell, and we have a deal."
