Yikes

"No, no wait. Um... this is the wrong hall way! You can't search this room," Jocelynn pleaded.

"Oh au contraire, Madam," Kalena said, smiling smugly, her suspicions raised and not letting herself be deterred.

She quickly shoved the key in the lock, whipped opened the door, and leapt inside nearly all in one swift motion, her sword in hand and at the ready.

But what greeted Kalena's dumbstruck eyes stopped her dead in her tracks, and her mouth fell open in utter shock. She immediately recoiled, grimacing with disgust as she hastily threw up a hand to the block the lewd sight of the two unclothed figures and what they were doing.

"Oh, gods—oh, good gods!" she cried, aghast.

Flustered, horrified, she started looking around the room at anywhere else.

"Ohhhhh Heeeeeyyyy." the man said, long drawn out and laid back. "I didn't order room service, and Madam I appropriate the sentiment, but I am just one man and I can only hand one at a time."

With a mortified squawk at this, Kalena's green eyes shot wide and her face flushed crimson.

"I am sorry. The guards are forcing me to allow them to search rooms," the Madam said, telling him a half lie.

"Okie dokie then...well room searched," he said using a free hand to do something to make the woman jump a little. "Could I like, ya know, get back to this?"

Kalena gave a strangled cry of revulsion, and in a swirl of blue cloak, turned and urgently fled for the door to the hall. She was not especially bashful or prudish but had been caught completely flatfooted. And how silly was that after just making a ribald joke to Oruvand reminding him they were searching a brothel. She was really furious at herself for letting Jocelynn set her up like this, if it had indeed been intentional.

When the Madam shut the door and turned toward her in the hall, she tried to school her features so as not to appear so frazzled and embarrassed.

"Well, I can't say that you didn't warn me," Kalena said, her cheeks still aflame. "From what I saw...." She sighed and winced at her choice of words. "That was a human, I think. Or no, I'm quite sure that it was in fact. Certainly not the elf we're looking for. Not unless he bleached his hair... and consumed a whole wagon load of raw oysters."

She gave a sudden disgusted shudder and then stalked away, continuing her search, but now with an ever more greater sense of caution.

OOC: It's no problem LSP. I was going to have her give the key to Oruvand, but this happening to Kalena is probably better lol.
