OOC - Beginner's Luck

We've all been there, and some of us has been there more than once. Starting to roleplay can be a daunting prospect. Putting your writing out there can be tough! Even when starting a new game with new people, veteran roleplayers might even feel apprehensive.

What advice would you give to new and old roleplayers joining a new game (or even starting out for the first time)? I would say to always double check what you write but be confident in what you write! I think so many might get put off after putting out a post if they think it isn't well recieved but we should try encourage them as best we can.
