Looking back...

Thought it would be interesting to look back at some of the games of the last 12 months or so that are no longer active and eventually will be sucked into game limbo from where they will never again emerge...

In an effort to keep the OW Platform on the first page of the site to bring it to the attention of newer members and try to get more people involved I will share by opinions about games that caught my attention that sadly appear to "dead".

Feel free to share what you thought of them as well and if you wold like any other games from the past year covered. Will do a couple of these posts in the next few weeks.

So first we have
Belurian Manor
Granted I might be a bit suspect bringing it up as I was part for it. In fact I seem to have the last post of the whole game.
What I liked about this game when it launched was that it had a Ravenloftesque vibe to it. The game was created by FallingSnow and SummerStormlight and it was "live" for about 3 months, with around 10 members. A dark fantasy setting reminiscent of the early medieval ages with flavours of horror and mystery, centred around Belurian Manor
The Manor was strange in many ways, most notably, in that it seem to look different every time one looked at it. As if alive.
The game started well attracting some OW regulars and the mods seem to have a plan devised and structure to the game unfortunately it never go past it's 3rd month and we never got to learn more about the haunted old house and the world of Belurian Manor.

Secondly,
The Seven Star Sultans
This one started with a bang I felt. skinnydonk, the mod, appeared to have a ready made world crafted and ready go.
The premises of this sci-fi was a very convoluted but there was no denying that a considerable about of thought had been put into creating some of the lore around this space opera.
It last around 15 posts. But boy are those posts a good read. Mod disappeared soon after and another world drifted into the void.
