Turning in pt 1

"Great story. Your good at that Parvil " Commented Krosik. The Dwarf looked over to see Dusty sleeping on the log. Krosik slammed his hand down next to Dusty who was half asleep she jumped into the air with a squeal tail straight, legs out looking like a flying squirrel. Dusty landed on the log that Krosik was sitting on then fell off. There was a loud sound of wrestling on the ground and Dusty jumped back up on the log with loud chatter and hissing at Krosik. Bursting out laughing Krosik's eyes got wide. There was a sound of cracking as the log gave way and Krosik fell onto his back still laughing.

Arc was not to good with that story. He was glad no one could see his boney expression of fear. He found it odd he was afraid despite being a skeleton already. He was still waiting for a reply to his question if the story was real or made up. It felt like Parvil was messing with him but serious at the same time. Then Arc replied, "I'll take first watch since I am not so tired now." He also needed to eat with his helmet removed when they were out of sight.

Krosik now looking a bit more serious and embarrassed about the log and him falling. "Ser Arc, ghost stories are to make you think real or not real. You should remember that all stories come from something that might have happened," said Krosik taking another swig of his Ale kag. "If you wish to have the first watch that is fine with me," says Krosik siting on the Log again.

Arc was still feeling a bit nervous and silly at the same time. The story seemed to feel realistic despite its origin and that bothered him. He replied, “Yeah sorry about that. I’m just a bit on edge and all.”

Parvil shrugged. "We've all got our own things to deal with." he said, standing placing an empty bowl next to Arc and pouring some water in his bowl to clean out out before going back over to his portable hole walking a circuit around it moving his hands in motions casting a spell. The air around the circle shimmer for a slip second in a half dome over the hole. "Keeps the water and bugs out." he said before doing the weird trick where he seem to walk horizontal into a vertical space vanishing into the hole to take his rest. Popping his head out for second. "I'll take watch in four hours. I don't need much sleep." he said before going to take his rest, so his Paladin companion could have his meal in privacy.

Arc nodded as he watched Parvil work. He replied, "Okay. Good to know. I'll keep some water hot for tea in case you need it to wake up." Arc had a closed pot full of water on stand by as he adjusted the fire for the camp.

Before falling into his bed Parvil dug something out a chest inside his sheltered home. A hexagonal disk of fabric folded in an aperture interlace, and a small cord of rope lead out one of the points. "Just put that somewhere with some open space and pull the cord, it'll pop into a tent." Parvil called from inside the hole.

Arc looked at the odd tool in wonder as he was trying to figure out what he was looking at as Parvil was talking to him. Arc replied, "Ummm......okay. I have never seen one of those before."

"Just pull the cord and keep your face away. It won't kill you, it'll just hurt...alot trust me. And no you haven't its a new invention from an artificer friend." Works good when I don't have room for the hole." Parvil said, before drifting off to sleep.

Arc looked at the sleepy Parvil then at Krosik before looking at the odd tent again. He was unsure about using such a device for a tent and wondered if he should just sleep on his bed roll outside. He pondered the idea for a bit as he stoked the campfire and kept watch.

"Oh my laddie it won't bite much," said Krosik walking over "Normally I don't use tents. I guess a noble would though," commented Krosik. reaching down and holding the tent dragging it to a clearing at the camp. holding the rope at the end with a quick tug. poles stood up with several clicking sounds as the canvas rose forming an exagon tent. Getting some sticks and pushing them into the ground at points around the tent. Krosik shook the tent some. "There you go Sir Ark, home away from home," remarked Krosik. turning and heading back to where he was. "I will sleep here. I am seldom surprised by anything this way," said Krosik with a smile. "If you need something give a yell, unless you need someone to hold your hand to fall asleep" joked Krosik sitting down on his skin.
