Looks Are Deceiving

With that settled she was quick to get ready for work, and thankfully her father was in the shower by the time she was ready and made fast work of getting Chris ready to stay with River and Serenity.

When she and Chris arrived at the skating rink it was immediately in the wake of Serenity's instructor scolding her. She looked worried and looked to Serenity. "Um... am I here at a bad time???"

Max looked at Kevin with a look of concern as he brushed his hair out of his face just enough to show the scar. A new surge of anger burned in his gut for how thoughtless some people were of Kevin's appearance. He was a kind soul, and didn't deserve the frustration and shame he felt.
