When school was out for the day Val always took stock, it had been easier when Charles was with her because they split the duty. The new arrivals were settled, as far as she knew. Her phone located the three newbies.
Wait. Was Dee's phone in the pool. Had she ditched her phone in the pool?
She wandered out of the rear of the mansion and walked across the lawn to the outdoor pool.
Oh, it wasn't only Dee's phone that was in the pool, the girl was too.
The phone was still active, and it had not moved from its current location. She texted Dee. 'YOU HAVING FUN DOWN THERE?'
