Turnabout questions

Alexis was caught off guard for a moment by his questions. So far Tar had shown very little interest in her person.

But turnabout was fair play, and as far as she could tell he had been largely honest in his answers. So she was willing to return the favor.

“Yes, I’m from Garrah indeed, and I would agree that the Fang is quite reminiscent of my home.”

Almost painfully so. In quiet moments, when none of Arcadia’s oddities chose to cross her path, she would have absolutely been able to trick herself into believing she was wandering the Garrah mountains instead. A bittersweet feeling, with her homeland more than a stormy ocean away.

“Can’t say I appreciate the present Odonine’s particular brand of chivalry though, so I don’t know about fitting in.”

That was it for the easy questions. The last one was another story.

“Worship… I don’t know anymore. It is the faith in which I have been raised and I have known little else. But wholeheartedly worship…? No. I don’t think I’m committed to any of them enough to rightfully call it that. Maybe never was.”
