Decision Made

To approach or not, that seemed to be a difficult decision to make. Clearly her stomach wanted some of the meat but there was really no telling if whoever the carcass belonged to would even share it. Was it worth the risk?

"What do you think?" Islana quietly asked the falcon, who sat perched on her shoulder, of course. not really expecting answer.

There was nothing, from this distance, that made this scene seem suspect but then again why was anyone this far in the desert? Was it just one person? Still, there was that nagging thought she might be hallucinating.

The smell caught Islana once more, her stomach growled. The hunger eventually made the decision for her and the redhead found herself approaching the campsite.

If her body was going to make the decision for her, the young woman figured she might as well approach cautiously and would call out when the camp was closer.

That is what she did. Approached the fire but kept an eye out to see if anyone was nearby. When Islana got close enough, she spoke out loud a greeting in Ozanine. One of the few words picked up by spending time with the desert people. Her only hope, at this moment, was that it wasn't going to be a disastrous decision.
