Pilgrimage of Bones

Islana'spath continued parallel to the strange tracks she was following. No matter how much she racked her brain, she could not phantom what was making these strange tracks on the sand. Whatever it was, it was heavy. And large.

She could still taste the acrid smell of smoke in the afternoon air. Making it quiet hard to breath.

Up ahead Kaithak suddenly changed directions and swopped down to land to get left away from the large tracks she was following. Looking at him curiously she almost missed it.

Small footprints leading away to the west. Obviously fresh as the sand had not covered them yet, looking like they could belong to a child.

More decisions. Onwards towards the pull or a detour to see if she could catch up with whoever had made the small footprints...
